Ed Sheeran’s ‘Smack My Galway Girl Up.’

They wouldn’t let me publish this on YouTube. God knows why. They would on Vimeo though. Obviously, they are a bit more relaxed when it comes to copyright etc.

For me, it portrays Ed in a far more hardcore and edgy light than normal which is surely the image that all pop artists are after isn’t it?

Ultimately though it’s just a laugh as I sync his recent ‘Galway Girl’ video to the Prodigy’s classic ‘Smack My Bitch Up’ tune whilst also adding in some other footage which helps create the narrative that Ed is, in fact, a disturbed serial killer which I think we’ve all suspected at some point.

Haunted by his previous misdemeanours no amount of drinking and cutting about Galway with Irish actress Saoirse Ronan can take away his blood-soaked memories or his deep-seated desires.

It really is incredible what you can come up with in an editing suite when you have enough time on your hands.
